Aminpro has process simulation models for grinding and flotation. With these, it provides the user with an economically optimized flowsheet. It arrives at the best configuration by adding/removing equipment and changing their configuration. Capital and operating costs are automatically computed along with smelter returns for optimization of tonnage, grind, flotation recovery and concentrate grade.

Aminpro-Grind
Aminpro-Grind is a grinding model which accepts several configurations. Input to the model can be with SPI® or JK parameters and bond work index. A pseudo-empirical approach has allowed Aminpro to interchange JK and SPI® hardness values to compare the outputs of the different models.

In the near future expect Molly-Cop tools to further enhance Aminpro-Grind by providing size distributions to JK and SPI® outputs!

Aminpro-Flot
Aminpro-Flot is the flotation model and it is based on specialized laboratory testwork that determines the kinetics of 20 size intervals. This data is absorbed by the model which determines the recoveries for each size class. It can also predict regrind requirements along with the size analysis for all flotation products.

Aminpro-Flot Simplex (AFS)

The AFS model is a bare-bones version of amipro-flot using a single flotation rate-constant and maximum recovery for each mineral in flotation. This model us used to troubleshoot operations bottlenecks and relies on simple test procedures.
